W-WATI call for participants

Horizon’s Workplace Wellbeing and the Internet project is running a set of research activities to better understand dimensions of wellbeing in the workplace. The findings from this research will  support producing recommendations and interventions to foster better wellbeing in the workplace.  As part of this work they are currently looking to interview people who:

  • Are aged over 18 years and are in employment (full-time, part-time, including self-employed and voluntary work)
  • Consider themselves to be ‘hyperconnected’ in some way at work. This is defined as “the pressure to always be available and the blurring of work-life boundaries caused by constant digital connectivity, like replying to emails after hours or staying online all the time”.

Interviews will take place online and last for approximately 30 – 40 minutes. Participants will be asked about their experiences relating to being hyperconnected in the work context, in particular tools and strategies for managing this hyperconnectivity, and how it affects day-to-day life and wellbeing.

If you are interested to take part in an interview or would like to know more about the study please contact Dr Liz Dowthwaite or fill out this online request form https://forms.office.com/e/HJpBYNPczF.

Participants will receive a small shopping voucher as a thank you for their time.
